Every order is carefully packed, fully insured, and tracked door-to-door. Here's everything you need to know.
Can I track my order? Yes — every order is fully trackable from dispatch to your door. Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and a direct link to follow your parcel. We ship with Australia Post.
What if my order is delayed? We're here at every step. If your parcel is delayed, we'll contact Australia Post on your behalf — no need to chase anyone yourself.
What if my order arrives damaged? We pack every opal with great care and have never had a piece damaged in transit. However, if the unexpected happens, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery at iona@ionaopal.com. Keep all original packaging and photograph the damage clearly before doing anything else. We will not be able to assess claims where packaging has been disposed of or where contact is made after 24 hours of delivery. Once we receive your photos and details, we'll send you our returns procedure and resolve it promptly.
Is my order insured? Yes. Every order is sent fully insured for its complete purchase value via Australia Post.
Handling time Orders are processed and ready to ship within 1–2 business days.
Australian orders All domestic orders ship via Australia Post Express with full insurance, tracking, and signature on delivery.

Customs, duties, and taxes Import duties and taxes vary by country and are entirely the buyer's responsibility. We are not able to predict, estimate, or cover these charges. We provide all required customs documentation with every shipment. Please check with your local customs authority before ordering to understand any applicable import duties or taxes in your country.
Ordering from the USA? A 10% import tariff currently applies to all goods entering the United States from international sellers. This is a US government policy and applies to purchases from all overseas stores, not just ours. The tariff is calculated automatically at checkout so you'll see the exact amount before you pay.
