Can I track my order? Yes, you sure can track your order.

After making a purchase, you will receive an automated email containing your shipping details, a tracking number, and a link to your shipping provider. Your shipping provider depends on your location and the total cost of your order. We ship with Australia Post.

What if my order is delayed or damaged? We are here to assist you at every stage of your order. If your parcel is delayed, we will contact the shipping provider on your behalf. We pack our Opals very well and have never had an issue with damage; however, in the unlikely event that something does happen to your Opal while in transit, please contact us immediately, keep all packaging, and take photographs of the damage. Email your concerns to iona@ionaopal.com and we will provide you with our Returns Procedure and a solution promptly.

Is my Opal insured while it’s travelling to me? Yes — absolutely. Every order is securely packaged, fully tracked, and sent fully insured via via trusted carriers.

Orders are processed and ready for Shipping within 1-2 business days.

Domestic Shipping and Delivery Services (within Australia) 

All domestic orders are sent via Australia Post Express with insurance, tracking and signature on delivery.

International Shipping and Delivery Services (outside of Australia)

All international orders are sent via Australia Post Registered Shipping with tracking and signature on delivery.

• Standard International Delivery is $35.00AUD per order.
• Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days

• Insurance cover for the full value

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Customs and duty charges vary by country and are the buyer's responsibility. We provide suitable documentation for all international shipments. Please check with your local customs agents for specific regulations.

For example:

• UK: Generally, there is no duty on our polished gems to the UK however you should always check with your local authorities first so that you are aware of any possible duties up front.
• New Zealand: Generally, is no duty on our polished gems to NZ on orders with a total value of less than $1000 NZD however you should always check with your local authorities first so that you are aware of any possible duties up front.
• Japan: There is no duty on our polished gems to Japan on orders less than 200,000 JPY however you should always check with your local authorities first so that you are aware of any possible duties up front. Customs forms may required for high value gems. 
• Canada: In general, orders under $1000 do not incur additional customs charges, however should always check with your local authorities first so that you are aware of any possible duties up front. Orders over $1,000 CAD require a customs declaration form.
• USA: Tariffs apply. Due to a recent government policy, all international goods imported into the United States are now subject to an additional 10% tariff. This means that any items you order from us (and from other international sellers) will be impacted by this extra charge. 10% Tariff is calculated at checkout based on the item value.
• Please be aware of local customs duties and taxes that may apply. Tracking information will be provided, and we will ensure all parcels are insured and securely packaged for safe delivery.
